My experience traveling and my memory as a child have influenced
my design work.
What draws me to the computer is the manipulation of photographs,
the organization of layout, and that my work can yield multiple
copies. My main medium is the computer, but with the flexibility
of doing fine arts I have the ability and the desire to go back
to using paper, pencil, and a glue stick.
My
personal work consists of photographs I have taken combined
with various household materials. I work at home with all my
materials laid out around me. It is about the passing of time
in my life and the stories that unfold during the process. The
exploration of memory is the common theme that has come out
over the course of 4 years. Remembering things from my past
is what brings a smile to my face. Photographs, stories and
senses are what generate the memory. My goal is to create an
emotion or to trigger a memory of your own through my artwork.
