FemmeVolition: Senior Juried Show 2004 April 24-May 23, 2004 Lindsay Ford I am a woman who works with her hands, her head and her heart. That is what makes me an artist. The art I create goes through several processes. It starts with my heart as an idea or an experiment travels to my head to work out where to start, and then ends up at my hands where it strives to become something of beauty with a purpose. I like to create works that serve purpose to fulfill my own needs, emotional or intellectual. I hope to create works that will inspire or inform the people looking at it.
