Family Weekend is a St. Kate’s tradition and a weekend for the entire family. This year's weekend promises to be exciting, entertaining and of course, fun!

Comedian C. Willi Myles (FREE Event!)
C. Willi Myles takes everyday life challenges and applies humor to them. He has opened for many of the top musical and comedy acts throughout the country. He has performed with The Temptations, Fleetwood Mac, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Dennis Miller, Toby Keith, and Bonnie Rait. He has been featured locally and nationally on Fox, Comedy Central, and Showtime at the Apollo. Don't miss this free show!

Magician Peter Boie (FREE Event!)
Peter has won honors at magic competitions around the country. He is a self-proclaimed Magician for Non-Believers. Being a Magician for Non-Believers is about creating an atmosphere where you stop thinking whether or not it's real, and just enjoy it. Don't miss this free show!

Parent and Family Association Speaker Series Kick-Off and Breakfast:
Parents Primer on The Reflective Woman (FREE Event!)
Join us for a lively discussion presented by the CORE Curriculum Faculty. Every student at St. Kate's take The Reflective Woman. What is this course all about? Join us to learn more about The Reflective Woman from faculty who will share their insights, loves, and challenges of the course.

Family Weekend BBQ and Free Pumpkin Painting Contest
Enjoy the great fall weather outside with other families and students. Participate in a pumpkin painting contest (you may win a prize!), get a free caricature or balloon animal, and have some fun! Grilled chicken, hot dogs, and veggie burgers will be served with assorted salads and desserts. The pumpkin painting contest will begin at 11:30. All supplies (pumpkin included) will be provided for you.

Your Guide...a nefarious gangster or his moll
Hop on a motorcoach and prepare to be transported to the 1930's when St. Paul wasn’t so saintly. Your guide will take you on a journey past the most infamous gangster hideouts and the famous nightclubs where many gangsters spent time socializing with the public. This is a can't miss event!

This multi-campus gallery crawl will offer free shuttle service between St. Kate's, Augsburg College, Bethel College's 9th Street Gallery, College of Visual Arts, Concordia University, Macalester College, and the University of St. Thomas.
