Scholarships for Transfer Students

These scholarships are available to students who transfer credit to St. Catherine.

Academic Achievement Scholarship for Transfer Students

  • Eligibility: Must have a transferring cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and 20 credits or more of college-level, non-remedial courses from accredited colleges.
  • Annual amounts: $9,500-11,000.
  • Priority deadlines: June 1 for students entering fall semester, Jan. 15 for students entering winter semester.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Phi Theta Kappa member enrolled full time and does not have a previous bachelor’s degree. First-year students who just graduated from high school are not eligible for this scholarship. PTK Scholars are not eligible for the Dean’s Scholarship.
  • Annual amount: $3,000 renewable scholarship.
  • Priority deadlines: June 1 for students entering fall semester, Jan. 15 for students entering winter semester.

Dean's Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Students transferring most recently from an accredited four-year college or university with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and 20 credits or more of college-level, nonremedial courses. Dean’s Scholars are not eligible for the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.
  • Annual amount: $3,000 renewable scholarship.
  • Priority deadlines: June 1 for students entering fall semester; Jan. 15 for students entering winter semester.

Sophia Brough Kampfer Scholarship for Montana Students

  • Eligibility: Students whose legal residence is Montana. Must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
  • Annual Amount: Minimum of $5,000.

Alumnae Referral Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Students who receive an Alumnae Referral Card from an alumna of the University. The referral card must be submitted with admission application.
  • Amount: $600 at the time of enrollment only.

DupliKate Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Daughters or granddaughters of St. Catherine University alumnae. 
  • Annual amount: $2,000.

TripliKate Scholarship

  • Eligibility: Students who have both a mother and a grandmother who graduated from St. Catherine University.
  • Annual amount: $3,000.

Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grant (TEACH)

  • Eligibility: Must declare education major, meet certain academic requirements and work as a full-time teacher after graduation. See financial aid counselor for more details.
  • Annual amount: Maximum of $4,000.
