Writing Requirement & IT Proficiency

The ability to communicate and use information effectively is critical to both professional achievement and the fulfillment of public responsibilities and personal relationships.

* Students may take a CORE 1000 or 2000 Reflective Woman (TRW) course with a Fine and Performing Arts or Humanities focus that will fulfill both the TRW requirement and an Art or Humanities requirement.

** Theology: For students pursuing a B.A., one theology course must be an approved Christian-based theology course or equivalent to a St. Catherine 100- or 200-level theology course. The second requirement may be any theology course or a philosophy course. For students pursuing a B.S., the one required theology course must be an approved Christian-based theology course or equivalent to a St. Catherine 100- or 200-level theology course.

*** High school language and/or proficiency exams cannot be used to satisfy this requirement.

**** Skills and Perspectives course content is integrated within other courses such as TRW, CORE 3990 Global Search for Justice (GSJ), major courses and liberal arts courses. Typically, a separate, additional course is not required to fulfill these requirements.
