1/5/2009 | Basketball
The St. Kate's basketball team used a combination of great shooting, strong rebounding and solid defense to defeat the University of St. Thomas 78-72.  St. Kate's shot an outstanding 10-for-16 from behind the three-point line and held the Tommies to 38% shooting from the field to secure their first victory over St. Thomas since 2003. The win raised the Wildcats record to 6-3 overall, and 3-3 in MIAC play.
1/3/2009 | Basketball
The St. Kate's basketball team returned to action for the first time since early December as they traveled to St. Peter to take on MIAC leader Gustavus Adolphus College. For 39 minutes it looked like the Wildcats were going to pull off the upset, but in the final minute of play the Gusties snuck out with the 57-54 victory.

Brooke Hakanson has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week after continuing her strong all-around play for the St. Kate's basketball team.
12/12/2008 | Hockey
The Wildcats entered their last game before final exams and the holiday break with the opportunity to move into sole possession of fifth place in the MIAC. Unfortunately rather than leaving 2008 on a positive note, the Wildcats are now forced to wait until 2009 to erase today's 5-0 loss to Hamline from their minds.
