FALL SEMESTER
Open your Lotus Notes e-mail account. Become familiar with KateWay, and see how easy it is to find information about St. Kate's.
Visit the Learning Center to refine your academic skills (EDUC Room 370).
Attend the Fall Activities Fair to identify opportunities for participation on campus.
Attend the fall Minneapolis panel discussion/program entitled, "What Are Healthcare Employers Looking For?" Watch for campus announcements.
Attend the Career Opportunities Fair (St. Paul campus) to learn about employment prospects.
In November, meet with your academic advisor to prepare your registration for winter semester and to ensure you are meeting all requirements for progression into your professional program.
Register for winter classes, then print a copy of your winter semester class schedule using KateWay: go to "My Education" tab. Under "Registration Tools," click on "Look Up Classes."

WINTER SEMESTER
Check your fall grades on KateWay: click on the "My Education" tab, then click on "My Grades." Discuss your progress with your academic advisor.
Learn sound financial management habits; attend the collegewide Money Management speaker series offered in the spring.
Meet with your academic advisor to prepare your registration for summer and fall semesters. Make sure you are meeting all requirements for progression into your professional program.

Make final preparations for fall term (complete prerequisites, CPR requirement, Certified Nursing Assistant training, work schedule plans, etc.).
Continue to engage in campus activities and events. Refer to the "Continuous Connections" checklist for ways to get the most from your college experience.
