Clubs and Activities

You'll want to get involved! St. Kate's has 24 honor societies, three student publications, 30 student groups, an active student government, several musical ensembles, theater productions, and various volunteer projects to choose from. (Plus, you can always start your own club.)

Students plan many of the campus events, including karaoke, movies, cultural celebrations and trips out and about in the Twin Cities.

The college also sponsors fun events like the annual Johnny Holm Concert in September, Family Weekend in October and the Dew Drop Bop, a picnic and dance, in May. Each year, St. Kate's sponsors the "Women of Substance" and the "Forum on Women in Leadership" speaker series.

St. Kate's hosts women like:

Madeline Albright

Jane Bryant Quinn

Cokie Roberts

Yolanda King
Molly Ivins

Alice Walker

There's always a lecture, performance or sports match to attend! Getting bored at St. Kate's is a matter of choice not circumstance.

The O'Shaughnessy is located in the heart of the St. Kate's campus and brings many famous entertainers. The Frey Theater, a black box space for student shows, is adjacent to the main stage.
