Respiratory Care Baccalaureate Degree Major

Please read the application instructions prior to submitting this online form. The application process is unique, depending on your status as a St. Kate's student, an ACTC student or a transfer student from another institution.
  • The St. Catherine University Respiratory Care (RC) major course sequence begins each fall. Applications to the RC major are accepted beginning each fall semester for the following fall. The application period for beginning the RC major for the fall of 2013 is open from Sept. 15, 2012 to June 1, 2013.
  • Fully qualified St. Catherine University day students are given first priority for full acceptance to the RC major -- fully qualified transfer and second majors are fully accepted in the RC major on the basis of earliest application and space availability (20 students max). If the program becomes full, a wait-list of five students will be maintained.
  • An applicant to the RC major who has not yet completed the RC program prerequisite requirements, but have a reasonable plan to do so by fall of 2013, can be granted contingent acceptance into the major.
  • If a student on contingent acceptance does not fulfill the RC program prerequisite requirements by August 15, 2013 -- their seat will be forfeited to a wait-listed RESP applicant.
