Radiography

With a two- to three-year commitment, St. Kate’s associate radiography students learn learn to operate sophisticated imaging equipment and work directly with patients in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics and outpatient centers.

Radiographers use X-rays, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), fluoroscopy and other medical imaging technologies to capture images of bones, vessels, tissues and organs of the body on film, videotape or as a digital file.

Successful radiographers also understand the human side of the X-ray equation. St. Kate’s radiographers are dedicated to helping people and working in teams to find solutions to healthcare problems. That’s one reason why St. Kate’s radiography program is so widely respected within Minnesota’s healthcare community.
