Occupational therapy is one of the best fields in terms of career opportunities, pay and job satisfaction, according to U.S. News and World Report. Employment opportunities are good, with a growing demand for driver rehabilitation and ergonomic consulting.

Our alumnae include:

More than 90 percent of our students pass the National Occupational Therapy Certification Exam each year.

You can also combine a career in research and education. Our professors are great role models. All are often teaching about occupational science and occupational therapy while carrying out their research on topics of personal interest.

Advanced study

St. Kate's is developing a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program for registered occupational therapists who hold a master's degree in any field. The program will prepare scholar practitioners for the increasing complexity of the practice. The University is currently pursuing full approval and accreditation — no official admission information is available now. For updates, see stkate.edu/graduate.

Occupational therapy assistant

St. Kate's also offers a two-year associate degree program for students interested in becoming occupational therapy assistants.
