Nursing: RN-to-Bachelor’s

The RN-to-Bachelor’s weekend section is designed for current RNs with an associate degree looking to step-up to a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree is now required by some health systems, especially for nurses working in fields such as neonatal care, highly acute pediatric care or emergency care.

Consisting of three nursing courses (22 total credits) plus the liberal arts and sciences core requirements, the program may be completed in a minimum of two years, depending on previous course work accepted for transfer to St. Kate’s. Most students complete the coursework in two or three years.
