Tuition and Financial Aid

At St. Catherine University, tuition is charged on a per-credit basis. For the 2012-13 academic year, tuition will be assessed at $640 per credit for the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS). The estimated total tuition expense for the 110-credit program is $70,400. Tuition is adjusted annually effective summer term, so actual expenses in future years will depend on annual tuition rates as approved by the University's Board of Trustees.

MPAS students will also be charged $185 in student fees. Over the course of study, MPAS students may incur approximately $11,000 for other program-related expenses such as immunizations, student malpractice insurance, medical equipment, lab coat, laptop, and books and supplies. Students who choose to participate in an international course or rotation will have additional costs that range from $3,000 to $5,000.

Transportation expenses, including travel during clinical rotations, are estimated to beĀ $25,000. Students can expect to have approximately $35,000 in estimated living expenses for room, board and personal expenses over the course of the 29 month program; actual expenses will depend on the individual student's housing arrangements and personal choices.
