You will explore 31 topics in Montessori theory, ranging from child development to classroom management, with many others focusing specifically upon Montessori. Hands-on classroom exercises and student teaching experiences help students synthesize theory into practice.

Since 1993, one hundred percent of the graduates from the St. Kate’s Montessori education program have found jobs in the field before or upon graduation. Many students receive support from their workplace to complete their Master’s degree and achieve greater Montessori credentials.

STEM education for the future
St. Catherine University is a national leader in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education at all levels and was the first program in the country to offer a graduate-level Montessori STEM certificate. In addition to classical methods, our Montessori graduates can continue to learn by studying earth science, engineering and math in an integrative way that blends Montessori principles with real-world skills.
