Mathematics
A mathematics major from St. Kate’s provides you with a broad background in theoretical and applied mathematics and computer science. You’ll gain the knowledge you need to pursue a variety of careers in such areas as business, industry, service or education.
The curriculum includes courses in mathematics and computer science. If you decide to pursue a bachelor of science, you will be required to take one full year of either physics or chemistry.
Preparation for life
When combined with other disciplines, the major prepares you for entry into many graduate school programs, including mathematics, business administration, econometrics, law, computer science, operations research, biostatistics, medical school, etc.
