Certificate Programs

St. Kate's offers nondegree certificates, available to both graduate and undergraduate students, as well as to nondegree-seeking students. The Office of Graduate Admission handles admission procedures for all theology certificate programs.

Students may proceed at their own pace and most complete the programs within two or three years.

Pastoral Ministry

The Pastoral Ministry program is to credential people for ministry in today’s church, especially those called to more formal roles of ministry. Learn more »

Catechetical Ministry

The Catechetical Ministry program is to prepares individuals for lay ecclesial ministry in today’s church, especially those called to serve as religious educators. Learn more »

Spiritual Direction

This program emphasizes the need for a holistic approach to the ministry as well as academic competence. Students are encouraged to incorporate personal experience, prayerful reflection, and health and wellness issues into their academic training. Learn more »
