Catechetical Ministry Certificate
The Catechetical Ministry program prepares individuals for lay ecclesial ministry in today's church, especially those called to serve as religious educators.
This ecumenical program for women and men focuses essential competencies for lay ministry:
- Solid theological foundations
- Leadership skills
- Principles and praxis of evangelization, faith formation, community, pastoral and cultural sensitivity
The Catechetical Ministry certificate may be obtained at the graduate or undergraduate level. The graduate classes are offered evenings throughout the year. Students may proceed at their own pace. Most complete the program in two to three years.
For more information about the Graduate Catechetical Ministry certificate, contact Sr. Catherine Michaud, CSJ at (651) 690-6712.
For more information regarding the Undergraduate Catechetical Ministry certificate program, contact Dr. Russ Connors at (651) 690-6747.
