Internships and Research

Internships allow you to refine your skills, broaden your perspective and make valuable professional connections. It can also lead directly to full-time work.
Alumna Sally Cook maximized her career potential by working as a sales intern with 3M, in addition to participating in sales competitions and the one-of-a-kind Mayo Innovation Scholars Program. She completed 43 informational interviews as a student — a St. Kate’s record (usually, we ask you to do five) — and received multiple job offers, including one from 3M.
Health care sales major Kelsey Kromminga also received a job offer from 3M after completing a summer internship at the company headquarters in St. Paul.
Other St. Kate’s internship sites include:
- AssurX
- Blue Cross Blue Shield
- Ecolab
- Mead Johnson Nutritionals
- Owens & Minor
- Upsher Smith
- Verscene
