Why St. Kate’s
An exemplary diversity program
Recently, the American Association of Colleges and Universities recognized St. Kate’s critical studies of race/ethnicity major as an example of "an exemplary diversity program" and selected it for inclusion in its book on campus diversity efforts, More Reasons for Hope: A New Generation of Campus Diversity Work.
Students see the complex connections between diversity, privilege, oppression, social justice and democracy.
Unique to St. Kate’s
Growing racial and ethnic diversity in Minnesota and the St. Kate’s student body make this major increasingly relevant for all students. Unique because it was created and developed by St. Kate’s faculty, CRST is excellent choice for those who wish to pursue this area of study.
