Communication studies major Beverly Kumar is gaining real-world skills as a marketing intern at the Minnesota Children's Museum. Communication major Erika Kriechbaum wrote and produced information for the KFAI radio station and its website during her internship stint.

Assistantship Mentoring Program (AMP)

Writing opportunities are available at The Wheel (student newspaper), Penultimate (department newsletter) and Ariston (student arts and literary magazine).

Campus radio station

Develop your communication skills at Radio Here, St. Kate's Internet radio station. You'll also learn to select content, make business decisions, manage staff and produce shows. Alumna Annette Dias spearheaded the founding of the station.

Honor societies

St. Kate's has the Antonian Scholar Honors Program and more than 24 national honors societies, including Lambda Pi Eta, for communication majors, and Sigma Tau Delta for English majors. Learn more
