Biology Minor
The minor in biology provides useful, related scientific background for students planning to major in chemistry, psychology or pre-professional programs, such as pre-dentistry, pre-medicine, pre-optometry, pre-pharmacy or pre-physical therapy.
Course requirements
To earn a minor in biology, complete the following courses:
- Two 1000-level courses, preferably BIOL 1210 and 1220 (General Biology I and II)
- Three four-credit, lab-based biology courses at or above the 2800 level
