Minor
St. Kate's apparel design majors must take art courses, automatically satisfying the requirements for a minor in studio art.
You may also choose a minor in other areas, such as business, journalism, communications or psychology to prepare for careers in design, product development, merchandising, buying, management, fashion writing or fashion consulting.
Alumna Stephanie Lesko, for example, double-majored in apparel design and fashion merchandising, and triple-minored in art, business and theater. She is now the assistant product manager at The Bon Ton Stores, Inc.
