Apparel Design at St. Kate’s

St. Kate’s apparel design major prepares you for a career in the fashion industry as it relates to apparel design.

In addition to apparel design courses, you will complete required courses for a studio art minor. Upon graduation, you will be prepared for careers in theatrical, technical and ready-to-wear/custom design.

Katwalk Fashion Show

One of the highlights of the year is the annual Katwalk fashion show produced by students in the apparel design program. At last year’s show, The Dress Files, seniors drew their inspiration from many different sources and experiences — from Ghana prints transported to the runway to rock and roll women. View slide show »
